ENN exclusive aerial footage of Amir Locke protest Tuesday night

MINNEAPOLIS, MN--On Tuesday, February 8, at approximately 7:05pm, hundreds of pedestrian and automobile protesters paraded down the city's main shopping corridor, Nicollet Mall, to round the corner at South 12th Street, marching toward Marquette Avenue where Minneapolis police broke into an apartment last week and assassinated Locke as he awoken on the couch.

At 7:45pm, the protest is still going strong, with more police cars now blocking the street in front of Bolsoro Flats, the apartment building where Minneapolis police once again showed Twin Cities residents, and the world, who they are.

Earlier proteststs this week have been organized by longtime civil rights activist, Nekima Levy Pounds, who also interrupted a press conference being held by Minneapolis Mayor Jacob Frey, and Minneapolis Police Chief, Amanda Huffington.
